St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church


Requisitos:

  1. Primera Comunión (se necesita el certificado).
  2. Se recomienda inscribir a la quinceañera para la Confirmación si cumple los 14 años antes del 1ro de abril. Si los cumple después se hará un juramento a inscribirla. Las inscripciones en nuestra parroquia empiezan en mayo. 
  3. Se requieren 2 sesiones de pláticas para la Quinceañera, Papas y Padrinos.
  4. Se le pide a la familia que donen dos arreglos florales para el altar de la Iglesia el día de la celebración. (Cualquier color, forma o tamaño)
  5. La Iglesia no está encargada de la decoración de la iglesia. (Opcional). Nada engrapado, pegado: solo amarrado o colgado.
  6. La familia se encargará de contratar un coro para la celebración, ya que es requisito. Tendrán que entregar el Formulario de responsabilidad. Solo confirmar que conozcan el orden litúrgico.
  7. La joven tendrá que asistir a misa los domingos. Se le dará una hoja de asistencia que entregará a la oficina cada mes. 
  8. Una semana antes de la misa, se le hará un examen sobre las oraciones básicas. En sábado de 10am-1pm en la oficina. 
  9. El viernes antes de su misa, habrá práctica a las 6:00pm. Si no están presentes NO habrá celebración. 
  10. Tendrán que llegar media hora antes el día de la celebración. La misa dará comienzo en punto de la hora, si llegan tarde NO habrá celebración. 
  11. La quinceañera, papas, padrinos, damas y chambelanes tendrán que confesarse antes de la celebración (los que puedan) para que comulguen. No se podrá confesar ese mismo día. 
  12. La donación por celebrar la misa es de $500.00, requiere un depósito mínimo de $300.00 para la reservación de la misa. El depósito NO es reembolsable. El balance debe ser liquidado mínimo dos meses antes de la celebración. 
  13. Habrá un costo de $25 por cambio de hora o fecha de la celebración. 
  14. Hay un costo extra de $130.00 para traer sacerdote que apoye en la celebración cuando se pide fecha o hora fuera de nuestro programa regular.
  15. Se hará una colecta durante la celebración. Se les invita a ser generosos.
  16. Acepta que si no hay sacerdote disponible, se hará el servicio.

  5. The Church is not responsible for the decoration of the church. (Optional)Nothing stapled or nailed; just tied or hung.
  6. The family will be responsible for hiring a choir for the celebration. It is required. Liability form must be turned in. Just confirm that they know the liturgical order.
  7. The candidate must have to attend mass on Sundays. You will be given an attendance sheet that must be turned in to the office each month. 
  8. A week before your Mass, she will be given an exam on the basic prayers. On Saturday from 10am-1pm in the office. 
  9. On the Friday before your Mass, there will be practice at 6:00pm. If you are not present there will be NO celebration. 
  10. You will have to arrive half an hour before your scheduled time, the day of the celebration. The mass will begin on time, if you arrive late there will be NO celebration. 
  11. The quinceañera, parents, godparents and court will have to confess before the celebration ( who can) in order to receive communion. You will not be able to confession that same day. 
  12. The donation for celebrating Mass is $500.00, a minimum deposit of $300.00 is required to reserve the Mass. The deposit is NON-refundable. The balance must be paid in full at least two months before the celebration. 
  13. There will be a fee of $25 per change of time or date of the celebration. 
  14. There is an extra cost of $130.00 to bring a priest to support the day of the celebration when a date or time is requested outside of our regular program.
  15. A collection will be made during the celebration. We invite you to be generous.
  16. If a priest is not available you accept that a service will be performed.
